Pure Alabama Honey

Did you know
that the average grocery store honey contains honey from other countries?  It may be bottled in the U.S., but the honey is collected from great distances, such as China, and shipped here.

The nectar source for Pure Alabama Honey bees come from “wild flowers”, which includes a cross section of blooms: dandelion, clover, tulip poplar, holly, blackberry, mimosas, sumac, privet, and more.   Basically what we find growing in most of the state.  Pure Alabama Honey is raw and strained (as opposed to microscopically filtered), which means it still maintains the pollen granules that are so beneficial.  In comparison, pasteurized honey has been heated to a high temperature, thus killing the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes.  You’ll find Pure Alabama Honey at Alabama Goods.
