Today is National Grandparents Day. While it doesn’t get the notoriety of Mother or Father’s Day, it’s special none the less since it recognizes a few significant and influential relationships in your life. While my grandparents have passed away, my time with them was precious and I cherish the days we spent together. That relationship of conditional acceptance and patient guidance is a unique experience for both a child and a grandparent and it deserves to be honored. Happy Grandparent’s Day.
