I just got back from a remarkable vacation – one of those soul-renewing, perspective-changing trips that I hope everyone is fortunate enough to have at least once in their life. We rode dualsport motorcycles from Trinidad, Colorado to Moab, Utah and back. We spent time riding the Kokopelli Trail, Slick Rock, several mountain passes, Arches National Park, White Rim Trail at Canyonlands National Park (brutal in August) and so much more. There were majestic and memorable sites at every turn. We woke up one day in Lake City, CO and it was 35 degrees then spent a day riding the desert at over 100 degrees. On my last full day in Colorado, after a rare rainfall, I saw a spectacular site:

a double rainbow.
As cathartic and refreshing the riding experience had been, the rainbow reminds me there’s no place like home.
