I read this article with great interest about big box retailers claiming to be local.

Wal-Mart local?! Yeah, right. Having a store in an area does not make you local. Counting on a specific geographic region for a customer base does not make you local. These multi-state, import loving companies are not local.

Local means that your store represents that unique flavor of the state.

Local means that the products are baked, created, formed or painted in the state.

Local means that citizens of the state produce these authentic and original items.

Local means that 100% of sales support families in the state.
