Alabama has such a wide variety of terrain that leads to so many kinds of things to do outside.  One of those fun places is High Falls. In Dekalb County, Town Creek comes to wide rocky section where the river gets very shallow. The river seems to barely make it past the rocks before it runs together and over the edge to create High Falls. What makes the area so much fun is that you can crawl down and around the tall rocky walls and jump into the water below. The daring souls in the crowd jump from the top – not me – I crawl down about half way before I’ll jump. I was there for the Independence Day enjoying the Alabama sunshine. Alabama is such a great place to live.

P.S. I got a little sunburned and I tried the shea butter. Wow, this stuff is good!
