Most coffee drinkers have their favorite mug, the one they always search out no matter how many other mugs are sitting in the cabinet.  I’ll even take my favorite from the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and clean it by hand.  My favorite mug happens to be made in Alabama with Alabama clay.  Anne Webb, a potter in Magnolia Springs, makes each mug on the potter’s wheel.  Designed with comfort in mind, these mugs are not too heavy the way some clay mugs can be and the handle is wider than most, so it feels good to hold.   She also hand paints an abstract dragonfly on each side and signs and dates it.  See Anne's mug on AlabamaGoods, http://www.alabamagoods.com/webb-mug.html.
