Beth and I participated in a high school fund raiser this past weekend. We had a couple of tables with items from some of our vendors. The Salt Pig and the Garlic Saucer aroused the most curiosity. It was fun to watch people pick them up, turn them around this way and that, with a quizzical look. When we explained what they are, the quizzical look turned into a broad smile, which turned into several purchases! The State of Alabama Throw was also a hit, as well as, the Landmark Platters (we had the Alabama and Birmingham platters). It was a fun evening in a festive environment for a good cause. It made us think about participating in other events with our Alabama specialty products. Hummm..... maybe we'll look into the Cottontails show at the Civic Center.
